Serpentine Landscapes at Bohemia Ecological Preserve 10-21-18

Take a walk with geologist Glenn Melosh and explore an area of the conservation region known as the Occidental Serpentines. We will set off on foot for an up-close look at the serpentinite rocks, the Sargent Cypress trees and a waterfall.

Bohemia Ecological Preserve is 554 acres of unique plant communities, geology, and wide open vistas located in the coastal hills outside Occidental. Sonoma Land Trust holds a consevation easement on the property which is owned and managed by LandPaths.
